Doob-doob-shadoob

A few days ago I discovered the wonders of the phrase, "Different strokes."  It embodies my life philosophy in a way that I have never been able to express.  What is your life philosophy?  Well, it's actually quite simple.  I don't like to tell people what to do.  I used to want to change the world but have long since said 'fuck it' to that.  I now recognize that people, no matter how faulty I find their logic to be, will do what they will.  Ideally, if I let everyone do their thing they'll let me do mine.  Go to a sports bar four nights a week?  Different strokes, man.  Smoke meth?  Hey, different strokes, man.  Be a total asshole in general?  Hey, not my life.  All I know is I'm not an asshole.  And if you think I am you've been had.

Wesley Snipes is doing time.  How 'bout that?  Different strokes, I guess.

I had a whacky dream last night:  Somehow I acquired a rather large quantity of marijuana, probably three or four pounds.  Using saran wrap I rolled it into a giant doobie.  This is where it got interesting.  It started forming facial features.  Not human ones, but more like that of an alien from the movie series, Alien.  Before long it formed an entire body and a super long tail.  This tail turned out to be a a steering device.  Okay, so I've got this crazy doobie/alien/marionette puppet and I'm basically leading it down South Clark in Forest City.  I began to encounter various other forms of absurd life, none of which I clearly remember.  The rest kind of fades from there.  It was a doozie, alright.

That's some dream. I love the ones with alternative lifeforms. An alternative lifeform dream about dope is extra special. Maybe you should tone down the stroking.

Imagine if Bev had stepped out the door to grab the mail while you were parading down Clark St. with your whacky puppet.
