Today someone contacted me on Myspace. I don't think that has ever happened for Sparks. A solo artist called The Syntax Era, from Iowa City, sent me a message saying they liked my stuff. Whoever they are, I dig theirs as well. I looked at one of their top 8, called Electric Blanket, and made friends with them, too. Both these people make cool music and have something to do with Optic Echo Records, which, I think, is based in Portland, OR. I never planned on meeting other musicians with Sparks, but I guess I did. Check these two out, it'll be worth your while.
