You spin me right 'round, baby

There is this great cartoon strip, found here, that will change the way you think about some things. It's hilarious and even my dad thought it was funny. I actually caught him looking at it by himself while I was away.

8

So many good things are happening and so many great things are in the near future. Being done with high school is one of the biggest feelings of a weight off my shoulders I have ever experienced. I'll finally be able to play a show again on Friday. I cannot wait to start those again. Noah will be back in a matter weeks now. When he gets back all the new songs will surface, and they will be so much fun to play. We'll eventually be playing in Chicago, which is the biggest "Fuck you," to punk rock I have ever been a part of. Tyler was just Santa Clause for a weekend. He loaned me the very laptop I am using right now along with a freakin' wireless hub. He also gave COL a new instrument, The Monster. He gave me so much cool junk. ENORMOUS THANKS, TYLER.

This rules!!!

Thank you, Chuckbot

Here I sit, doing the last homework I will ever do for high school: Music Theory III. Do I know what I'm doing? No. I did at first, but I have come to the point where it is completely beyond me. Am I going to do it? Well, I'll draw circles and lines and fill in the spaces. I am about to do the most meaningless homework of my high school career. I will retain nothing from what I am about to do. I will have no idea what any of it means. Will I fail Music Theory III? Probably not. I suppose it's possible. That fact makes it all the more meaningless. Alright, here I go. Off to finish high school, busy work, and procrastination.

After finishing (pretty much), I ask myself again:
Will I pass Music Theory III?
Not a fucking chance.

Don't you know who the fuck I am?

For all you X-Men fans and even for those who aren't, this is hilarious.

The bi-monthly binge

Today was one of those days. Every couple months I seriously crave Hardee's. I usually go in and take down a whole Monster Burger, but not today. There is now something called the Philly Cheese Steak Thickburger. Think about that for a second... It's a huge burger, meat patty and all, including a bunch a cheesy steak. Not to mention, white goop that is probably mayonnaise. You want to know what it tasted like? There is only one way to describe it: It tasted like Hardee's. I noticed no beef, no steak, just Hardee's. It felt like Hardee's; squishy bun, soaked meat (both kinds, in the case), and sticky mayo.
There comes a point in every Hardee's sandwich where my mind and stomach start arguing. If I could, Tyler, I am going to use your One and Two style to illustrate this.

Mind: God, this is disgusting
Mind II: God, this is delicious
Stomach: I am still hungry
Mind: This is disgusting
Mind II This is so good
Stomach: The burger is gone! I'm still hungry!
Mind: Just give it a minute, stomach
Stomach: I'm still hu... Oh... Oh, ow...
Mind: That was stupid
Mind II: Yep
Stomach: Ow... Ow... Ow...
Mind: I want my five dollars back

I am glad I satisfied my urge for now. I am currently digesting pure evil. I will later shit 100% concentrated cruelty and malice.

Immediately after posting, I realized It should have been called "Semi-monthly binge"...
"Bi-monthly binge" sounds way more boss, though...

Aw... Aw, oh god!

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the most unpleasant thing I have ever seen. I dare you to watch it for one full minute. There is no gore or violence. It doesn't even contain living things. It is just simply the most unpleasant thing I have ever witnessed.

Optic Echo

Today someone contacted me on Myspace. I don't think that has ever happened for Sparks. A solo artist called The Syntax Era, from Iowa City, sent me a message saying they liked my stuff. Whoever they are, I dig theirs as well. I looked at one of their top 8, called Electric Blanket, and made friends with them, too. Both these people make cool music and have something to do with Optic Echo Records, which, I think, is based in Portland, OR. I never planned on meeting other musicians with Sparks, but I guess I did. Check these two out, it'll be worth your while.
