Fitter, happier...

Now that the Olympics are over and I have even less homework, I promise to be more productive. I told Noah I'd send him everything I have accomplished and I still have about five songs to record. I still have to throw something together for my dad's wedding in July. Also, I don't want to upset Sonny Jim. It sounded like he was pounding silverware while demanding a new song. If I can avoid being stabbed by getting music done, I mean to do so.

A tuner knob on my acoustic broke and I replaced it with a tuner from Pean Butt. My acoustic is no longer a pope. It is Frankenbutt.

Life: 2, Robby: 0

Last night, much to my surprise, I discovered all of my progress on "Black Sails" had been erased from existence. I know how it happened, too. I tried to save it and my computer (the flamingest piece of horse shit I have ever come into contact with) fucked up and decided to just undo everything I had accomplished. So I have to start over and redo all the fucking tracks I had layed down.
Today I found that the toilet I invented yesterday completely defies the laws of physics and isn't even possible.

I lose.

Simmer down, Sonny Jim

I have just finished a song called Kings Of Old. It is quite an ambient little thing.

I am almost done with something I am, for now, calling Black Sails. This one finally incorporates the cello bow. Yee-fuckin-haw.

These past couple days have been occupied with organ tinkering. Putting effects on it is bitchin'. I will be conjuring up something with that in the near future.

Reliant K is not awesome.
At all.

Look at my new outfit!

An enormous thanks to Titfuck for the new blog template. I am truly grateful and satisfied with it.
I'm a fucking cartoon!!! It seems that I have a new Blogger ally. Just wait until Jizz Mopper Helicopter reunites. That blog will knock some socks off.

Getting syrup in your hair sucks a lot

Three things:
  1. For the "Back In Black" cover, I have decided to use the AC/DC voice. That voice is too absurd to not use.
  2. I doubt I will post any of my metal covers, but if anyone wants them I'm sure I can just email the tracks. Tyler will probably be the only person that applies to.
  3. I've got four new Sparks under construction.

So many shitty aspects, so little good ones

While recording the vocals of my cover of "Back In Black" tonight I came to a standstill. I did both the stupid AC/DC voice and a heavily articulated normal singing voice. Both of these versions make me laugh, but for two different reasons. If I use the AC/DC voice, I am making fun of that ridiculous noise which that man produces and passes off as singing. If I use a heavily articulated normal voice, I am making fun of the stupid lyrics, which sound twice as stupid in a normal voice. I am completely torn between which shitty aspect of AC/DC to make fun of. I am going to need other input to solve this dilemma. I shall post what I have of both versions on Myspace sometime in the next few days, and I would like to know which you think is funnier. Give me feedback to help me make fun of AC/DC in the most comical way possible.

Now on Myspace.com

From now on, I will be posting some old and eventually all new creations on Myspace.com.
I am uploading some songs onto Myspace with my blasted dial-up as I write.

Today I finished a new version of The Tranquil State Of Yearning Earth (The last track of the Human Machine album). I wrote a completely new second half. This version is intended for actual live usage, as opposed to three guitar parts layered on top of one another, all of which I made up on the spot while recording it.

Stay tuned while I strike with my stone.
